2.Remote lecture system / automatic lecture recording system

The remote lecture system and automatic lecture recording system promote collaboration with other universities domestically and internationally, and support the implementation of advanced educational methods (e.g., active learning). The systems are provided in several classrooms, and remote lectures/lecture recording can be started in line with a pre-arranged schedule. Remote lectures can also be recorded in classrooms with both systems, and the resulting video can be distributed automatically to students via the LMS.

Advanced e-learning activities (e.g., those conducted using the Zenkoku Ganpro e-learning cloud) are promoted at the University of Tsukuba. Infrastructure improvement is conducted on an ongoing basis to support the integration of various e-learning systems in a cloud infrastructure. Accordingly, management streamlining and enhanced collaboration among organizations are promoted. Efforts are also made to improve learning efficiency by strengthening recording/distribution functions and increasing output of video-based educational materials.
