Open Course Ware (TSUKUBA OCW)

In 2013, TSUKUBA OCW instituted a new university-society interface and new activities to provide a platform for educational content. The purpose of this initiative is to raise questions, through interaction with people outside the university, on how new findings made at the institution should be managed.

Open Course Ware involves worldwide activity for the publication of lectures given at the university and information on the web without charge as a way of contributing even more to society.

JOCW plays a central role in Japan. The University of Tsukuba has taken part in OCW since 2006.
